haven't posted anything lately.. so well here's the update on the band

-planning to record soon.
-practicing acoustically in the jamming room to tighten up
-trying to gauge Christian's Flamboyancy
-Might be featured on an upcoming show, Singapore OK!

Aside from that.. nothing much. KC is going backpacking with JY in Aussie. Chris is going for surgery (No.. not that kind... he isn't realigning anything.. nor is he chopping off anything and upgrading cup sizes. Its just his Gums I Think.....). So No Pmime action for 2 weeks or 2 months.. not sure. At most Chris will be doing a Pearl Jam for those 2 months.

I've realized that I have not been hanging out with anyone lately. There used to be a time when I would meet up with Glen almost every 3 days or so and just bum (up to a point that elly actually got kinda jealous. yes, she said so herself.). Either that or just doing nothing with jegan or late lunch with pin and talk about how we're going to be a great acoustic act (pin is only interested in women in case you wanted to know.).

More often than not nowadays, I find myself hanging out with Victor, Aidil, Chirag, Mithun, Varun, Nicole (she comes down sometimes), Vanessa, Jegan and Calvin. Well, mostly for sheesha. I do join them for drinks but usually when time allows me to. Cool bunch.

Wonder what happened to the night overs (can't say sleep overs, its just wrong.) at Glen's place where I would usually try to lay claim on his bed (not cum stains but rather "i'm sleeping here tonight bitches!" kind of thing.). Think that we all should just get a chalet for the weekend, starting on friday till monday afternoon. Just us, drinks, smokes and maybe the beach and an xbox360.

Also was reminded of Brenda's 2-guys-smooching-each-other fetish.

Sometimes you wonder if you should blame the big black legion or should you just blame yourself. You have a choice to do it or not to, so why do you? I look back and I blame the govt. for making my life slightly worse but then I know I shouldn't because whatever it is, I had a choice. To say "Fuck off!" or just a simple no. Then I start to think about if I did say no, who else will do it if not I?

People are hand picked, chosen and all for a reason. Everything happens for a reason. Chances are given to help you improve your life in one way or another. If an opportunity was given to you, would you take it up or just say no and let it slide on by.

I never gave up during the selections because I knew I was better than the other poor souls in the group. Call it an ego thing if you would want to. I never wanted it but yet I still took it, the opportunity.

The opportunity to know that everyone you know is safe by doing it yourself. Deciding and residing on the choices you've made. Even though it did and still is causing a problem for my relationship(s) (everyone), I'm still quite proud that at least I did it. To do the right kind of wrong for all the right reasons. I'm not happy but at least I know I made a difference. I learnt alot more too.

I have bad luck. Luck so bad that I can't die so easily. I was upset once and we had to do something, I tried as hard as i can. Jumped into every situation head on. Ran into every problem head on. I'm still here. Why? Is there a love for me so strong that I'm forced to live? or is my Karma so twisted that for every shit that has happened to me since birth just came together and helped to create this outstanding luck that just helps me to avoid death?

I'm happy right now knowing that I'm still around to talk to you and to be with you. Others may not understand or fully know everything but our love will shine thru.

In 1814, Meux's Horse Shoe Brewery in London constructed a brewing vat that was 22 feet tall and 60 feet in diameter, with an interior big enough to seat 200 for dinner -- which is exactly how its completion was celebrated. (Why 200? Because a rival had built a vat that seated 100, of course.)

After the dinner, the vat was filled to its 4,000-barrel capacity. Pretty impressive, given the grand scale of the project, but pretty unfortunate given that they overlooked a faulty supporting hoop. When i was just a small young kid (shaddup you alex you), aside from aspiring to become a recognised composer or a teacher or an artist, I actually wanted to be a concert pianist. Of course nothing came out of it since I only lived with my grandma (who has the piano) for a few years or so.

Sitting down at the piano everyday. I never did start talking till 3? Writing notes on lines and not knowing. Just plunking melodies everyday, the ones that I hear on the radio and in my head. I was never happy as a kid actually. I'd rather sit by the piano or watch someone play the piano than talk. Although back in kindergarden, I talked a whole shit load.

Led Zeppelin will perform a one-time comeback concert in memory of Ahmet Ertegun, a co-founder of Atlantic Records.

The band will perform together for the first time in 19 years on Nov. 26, at London's The O2 venue, on the banks of the River Thames.

Promoters said the concert would pay tribute to Ertegun — the label boss who popularized Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin and Led Zeppelin — who died in December at age 83.

"During the Zeppelin years, Ahmet Ertegun was a major foundation of solidarity and accord," Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant said in a statement. "For us he was Atlantic Records and remained a close friend and conspirator."

Ertegun, who co-founded the Atlantic Records label with Herb Abramson, signed Plant's band in 1968 and later snapped up the Rolling Stones.

Led Zeppelin's remaining original members Plant, guitarist Jimmy Page and bassist John Paul Jones will headline the concert with late drummer John Bonham's son, Jason, on drums, organizers said Wednesday.

The quartet is expected to perform a full set lasting up to two hours.

Promoter Harvey Goldsmith said Led Zeppelin would play one show only and there was no commitment or discussion of playing beyond that.

her voice has a somewhat nice quality from the few listens i had of her, so it's up to your discretion or critique. but who cares.

Been thinking about my past self. Wondering how I was more inspired back then. Was it the drinks? the smokes? The push to be who I am and accepting whatever talents I had?

Just lying down in the middle of a grass field and just looking up into the sky for hours. Being able to pull out inspiration when needed. To call for the inner child when I feel too much like an adult.

I wrote pretty much about everything and anything. I couldn't sing well so I just let my fingers do the real singing. To express what I could not say out straight.

My grandmother passed away and I didn't shed a single tear. All I did was just compose a small instrumental piece. Solo guitar or a full orchestra, its all on that 10 page score that is hidden in between two pages of a huge novel.

My friends passed away and I just held it back in. My uncles passed on and I stayed by wishing they lived on. My memories are where they reside right now. Christopher was the Kurt Cobain. Sufiyan was the Jim morrison. Sometimes it makes me feel left out, like I'm the leftover from an awesome dinner. Where did everyone go while I felt invincible?

Was cleaning my Cupboard last sunday since I was basically free the whole day. Began to notice some things about myself as well as other people.

1) Girls like to send/give post cards
2) I wrote AWESOME stories in my primary/secondary school time. I read it all twice over and its still interesting. Threw it away anyway cause I wouldn't want anyone else reading it. When its serious, its dead serious. When its funny, its full of bullshit. And i always have a twist somewhere. I liked this particular one where i wrote about how I found out that my best friend is my twin (of course not identical but somewhat similar). No romance, just shock after gasp after holy crap I didn't see it coming after what the fuck?!
3) I wrote alot of unused music.
4) I wrote alot of unused lyrics.
5) I had alot of comics
6) I had porn. After all these years, I finally found PORN! of course its nothing though.
7) I had lots of guitar strings that i didn't bother to throw away.
8) Had 1 unused condom
9) I loved gaming.
10) I loved cards
11) Was pwning ppl at this particular slapping card game thingie (those circular things.. where u have to slam down on it or something)
12) I had lots of pens
13) Wires, cables and converters (all audio)
14) Realised i knew adib and the rest of the cuppage people since I was 17. Thats bloody long.

for those who caught Live The Dream, anyone noticed Jonathan from the Singapore
Art Cafe? it was a pretty quick shot, he played keyboards. too bad it didn't seem like

Played street soccer with the guys (jo,the 2 johns, jeg, carlin, allie, lionel, carlin's 2 cousins, shaun) before work today (today being tuesday). I still suck at soccer. Jo still sucks and is the same cockster. everyone else is still very much the same either way. ACS guys will never really change much, no matter how many life changing things you will go thru. Well besides everyone not changing at ALL. It seems like I'm the only one who is working. Carlin and Allie is studying in Aussie. Jeg is in SIM. John lye is er.. studying something. Lionel too. John Lin.. pretty sure same story there too. And jo is studying at SMU.

Am fixing me Tele (not television mind you people) later in the late afternoon. The volume and tone knobs are abit screwey. Plus i wanna change my pickguard to black. Shall change my pickups sometime in the future.

demise of the band's drummer.

i'm sure his passing will leave a void in Singapore music
and in the drumming fraternity as it is.
